  • After stating that bringing them might’ve been a wrong decision, Tengen said that he will handle the mission alone and left;

  • Inosuke revealed to Tanjiro their ranks have gone up, and they are now Kanoe;

  • Tanjiro figured out the demon must be using passageways through the houses since he appeared at Inosuke and Zenitsu’s houses;
  • He and Inosuke realized that is the best way the demon can kill people and get away without any hassle;
  • Tanjiro stated that Tengen’s wives and Zenitsu are alive and made a pact that he will save them no matter what;

  • When Tanjiro entered Koinatsu’s room, he found her wrapped in Daki’s belt.
  • Daki knew a demon slayer would show up, and she asked Tanjiro if there are more of them or any Hashira;
  • Tanjiro realized that the demon is ranked upper six;
  • He then told Daki to let the Oiran go, but the demon found it insulting that he is ordering her;
  • Daki swiftly attacked Tanjiro, and he got tossed intensely across another building;
  • Tanjiro was overwhelmed with such power, and tried to pull himself together;
  • Daki was impressed that Tanjiro can stand after such an attack;
  • Tanjiro used a water breathing technique and attacked Daki;
  • They keep fighting intensely in mid-air, and Tanjiro severed a piece of belt that holds Koinatsu;
  • Daki stated that she is starting to get fond of Tanjiro, and knew he is at the edge of death;
  • Tanjiro was concerned and wondered if he can take on an upper-rank demon alone;
  • He knew that it’s not a matter of if he can, but he has to take on the devil;
  • Tanjiro then took a stance to fight Daki.
